The Post’s Name
The post was renamed the Frederick S. Healy American Legion Post 159 in memory of Private Frederick S. Healy, the oldest Westford Academy graduate to serve in World War II. Private Healy was a World War I veteran who re-entered military service during World War II and died in the European theater in July 1944.
